DEBATE-Kansas City students continue to make waves in college debate. Ryan Wash (formerly of Kansas City Central) and LaToya Green-Williams (formerly of Lincoln Prep) placed second representing Emporia State in the open division at UMKC’s Baby Jo Memorial tournament. Due to concerns about extreme cold DEBATE-Kansas City has canceled the City Championship for January 8th and 9th. We greatly appreciate all those who volunteered to judge. We are already working to reschedule and will be in contact once we have a new tournament date.
