Players Announced for Chiefs – Wizards Debate

DEBATE-Kansas City is proud to announce the current and former players from the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Wizards that will debate: Which is the REAL Football?
The Kansas City Chiefs will be represented by Corey Mays (Linebacker) and Ikechuku Ndukwe (Offensive Lineman). They will square off against former player and current Assistant Coach, Kerry Zavagnin, and Defender, Matt Besler of the Kansas City Wizards. In addition, Steve Kraske of KCUR-FM and The Kansas City Star will serve as the MC.
The purpose of the humorous debate is to raise funds so that DEBATE-Kansas City can provide summer debate camp scholarships and assistance for debate tournament travel. Studies show that an intense experience in academic debate greatly increases graduation rates, raises test scores, improves college readiness and can help meet goals in turning around low performing schools.
