Chicago Urban Debate League Team Wins NFL Nationals

DEBATE- Kansas City wants to through a huge shout out to Whitney Young High School’s Misael Gonzalez and Kevin Hirn for winning the NFL Policy Debate National Championship. This team hails from the Chicago Urban Debate League. DKC staff has had the pleasure of judging these two at NAUDL nationals last year. They are a very talented duo!

This win proves that an urban school is capable of major national level success. So to all you aspiring debaters out there redouble your efforts and may be one day a DKC student will stand on the podium as a NFL National Champion!
